How much time do I have to dedicate?

Volunteers are the primary reason we are able to help so many people with such varying needs. We would be lost without our volunteers! Responsibilities may include getting horses ready to ride i.e. grooming and tacking, leading or side-walking during lessons, helping riders with various tasks, feeding horses, sweeping and other barn housekeeping items, and helping with riders during their lessons (click here for further explanation of volunteer responsibilities). Volunteers must be willing to work in a physically-demanding environment in variable weather conditions. Our program operates year-round in most weather conditions.

How much time do I have to dedicate?

Volunteers are needed Tuesday-Saturday. It is preferred that volunteers are able to provide a reliable schedule allowing them to dedicate a few hours each week to our program however,  we welcome whatever type of availability you can provide.

What is the age preferred for volunteering?

The preferred age of volunteers is 14 years and older however, exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.

Please contact Lori at (303) 883-4667 for more information on how to begin volunteering.

Download the Volunteer Form. After completed please return to mtrcvolunteers@gmail.com.
